Mizu Dojo

The Mizu Dojo was a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the practice of the traditional Japanese martial art of Aikido.

Aikido is a non-aggressive, dynamic and free flowing martial art which uses circular and blending movements to redirect, transform and neutralise an attacker’s force.  Aikido requires no advantage in strength or size and teaches you to meet conflict with a calm mind.

In addition to providing an effective form of self-defence, Aikido practice develops flexibility, calmness, physical fitness, coordination and self-confidence.  A central theme in Aikido training is the coordination of mind and body.

The Mizu Dojo is located in the “Great Hall” building at the Endeavour College of Natural Health, 362 Water Street,  Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.  Secure free parking is available in front of the dojo.

THE MIZU DOJO WAS CLOSED IN 2009
